3 cups extra-strong brewed coffee
2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
4 whole allspice or 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Whipping cream, whipped
Ground nutmeg
Sugar (optional)
Cook coffee, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and allspice in a saucepan over low heat 10-15 minutes. Strain; pour into glasses, and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg; serve with sugar, if desired.
